#1. Beauty and the Beast. One of my absolute favourite movies. I don't remember any real memories of it as a kid but I just love the story line. A true fairytale that comes true. Upon meeting dh, I learned that it is his all time favourite Disney movie.. :) I love watching Lilly watch this movie too. She isn't scared of the beast but instead embraces the whole movie. I could be bold to say that it is one of her favourites too. I love that as a family we can watch it and all be into it. :)
#2. Monsters Inc. LOVE this movie. So cute. The monsters just have that ability to draw you to them. I have laughed so much in this movie and I always have a smile on my face while watching it. This was actually one of the first movies Lilly watched and it continues to be on her to watch list. I love Boo in this. I remember this movie coming out and I wanted to see it in theaters but wasn't allowed. I bought it the second it came out.
#3. The Little Mermaid. My favourite princess. :) As a kid, I watched this movie A LOT. My little sister Kim was in love with it and had everything of the Little Mermaid. She had a blanket of her and any chance that I would get, I would steal it. I remember Kim being so little and watching it. I guess the fact that it captured her imagination and the smile on her face is what I remember the most about the movie. Maybe that is why it became one of my favourites. I still love to curl up on the couch and watch it except now instead of watching my little sisters face light up, I can watch Lilly's face. It is definitely Lilly's favourite princess too and I know she can't wait to meet her at Disney. (maybe as much as me. lol)
#4. Lilo & Stitch. What isn't to love about the little alien dude and of course Lilo. That little girl reminds me of Lilly. Such a sweet little girl who knows what she wants. The original is the only one that I really liked. I don't really have anything else to say about this movie besides that I really do love this movie.
#5. Tinkerbell. LOVE LOVE LOVE Tinkerbell. Seriously my favourite character of all time. I may have passed that on to Lil but oh well. haha. As soon as I met Lilly, I went out and bought a Tinkerbell border for her room. That is the one thing I miss about my old house. :( If I could have brought it with me, i definitely would have. I had thought of doing her room the exact same but figured Lilly would outgrow it quicker than I could put it up. I was probably more excited than Lilly was when Tinkerbell came out in her first movie. lol. The second movie was great too and I can't wait for the 3rd and 4th movie to come out. There is just something about Tink that is so magical. She's a fighter yet so darn cute. :)
